Shakespeare on the Sound - McCann
Poster
2019
Utilizing manually distorted typography to create a treatment that visually represents the way the play distorts the audiences understanding of reality and time. As well as the way the main character, Prospero, uses his magic
to manipulate the characters actions. The distortion of the type also mimics the disruption of a storm on water, without being too literal about the storm that sets up the story.

Shakespeare on the Sound is a non-profit theater company our team worked with annually to create a poster for each seasons main production.
